healthy feet workshop

Restore lost foot function and improve the health of your feet and your body.

In this two hour workshop, you will learn how shoes affect foot function, how to mobilise and strengthen your feet, (there are 33 joints in each foot and 25% of your bones reside in the foot!) and how to evaluate and fine tune your movement habits. You will gain an understanding of why you may have foot problems, why feet that do not articulate well can lead to knee or hip issues and what you can do about it. You will come away with a set of tools that support the healthy function of your feet and your body.

Bunions, heel pain, hammer toes, neuromas, metatarsalgia and the dreaded plantar fasciitis are just some of the many common ailments that we seem to accept as part of life these days. This does not have to be the case! Foot pain seems to be the norm for many people and has an effect on not just your feet but your whole body. In my experience, feet are one of the most overlooked body parts but feet that are strong and mobile are a critical part of helping us to age well.

You will be on your feet most of the time and the workshop will involve simple exercises and movements. If you have feet, this workshop is for you!
