Whole Body Alignment Classes

This 6 week class series is an introduction to Restorative Exercise.
These classes will give you the opportunity to explore how you move and help you develop body awareness with the intention of improving function. Through mindful movement and an understanding of your current boundaries, you can begin to restore lost ranges of motion and create a foundation for building strength. The more you know your body, the better you will move and the better you will feel.
In this increasingly sedentary world, knowing which parts of your body move and which parts don’t is very beneficial. You will come away with tools that will help you stave off injury, maintain functional ranges of motion and age well. You will also learn how to integrate these movements into everyday life.
The classes are intended to be educational, empowering and fun.
Each classes builds on the previous class. The classes will be small to ensure personal attention and are aimed at everyone, male or female, at any level, who wants to feel better in their body. Although I teach Restorative Exercise, the term exercise, in this case, is a misnomer! These are not traditional exercise or "fitness" classes, they are movement classes designed to educate and improve function. If you happen to have an injury, any niggles or a dysfunction, these classes will help you figure out why and enable you to do something about it.
